In your role as the Content Marketing Specialist
within the Talent Acquisition team at The North West Company (NWC), you will set the tone of our employer branding messaging. You will be responsible to determine exactly who we want working for us and then work to attract those candidates via a variety of online tools (whether online or off). You will give job seekers a better idea of the company culture through blog posts, social media images, and job fairs.

Your Role:
  • Planning, managing, and executing multi-channel employer brand campaigns to support recruitment, culture, and other major talent initiatives;
  • Collaborate with teams such as Marketing, PR, and Community Relations to activate messages and campaigns, including implementing paid, organic and employee advocacy strategies to deliver best-in-class, relevant content to highly targeted audiences;
  • Create collateral to support hiring and run reports that assist in analyzing relevant campaign data;
  • Building content strategies and copy and implementing them;
  • Identifying and measuring clear objectives and KPIs that support talent sourcing initiatives;
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement to services;
  • Building rapport with vendors;
  • Analyzing metrics to identify trends and opportunities;
  • Presenting findings to upper management; and,
  • Track key advertising metrics.
 
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Post-secondary Communications or English degree or Diploma; or a combination of education and training in a related field;
  • Expert knowledge of social media platforms
  • Knowledge of best practices for branding and advertising;
  • Experience running digital advertising campaigns;
  • Knowledge of relevant software and technology to support campaigns (Adobe suite)
  • Proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and assignments while adhering to very strict timelines;
  • Work exceptionally well independently and able to foster collaboration across a diverse team;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with strong attention to detail;
  • Must possess strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships within the organization; and,
  • Must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
