In your role as the Environmental and Energy Services Coordinator, at The North West Company (NWC), you will be responsible for the Development and implementation of Energy Best Practices initiative and support for Environmental legal and regulatory compliance.

Implement policies and procedures to deliver energy cost saving benefits throughout NWC;
Assist in research for new energy saving technologies for adoption;
Report monthly, quarterly, and annual consumption of energy to enable NWC to identify and remediate inefficient facilities and prioritize investment on energy projects;
Distribute monthly KPI reports to each store in all banners with their specific report to inform Store Managers and District Sales and Operations Managers of their progress towards energy savings targets;
Deliver targeted information for key audiences about energy management;
Provide administrative support for meetings, reporting, correspondence, and other duties;
Provide support and coordination necessary to help ensure environmental policies and projects are in compliance with all relevant environmental legal requirements.
Desired Skills & Abilities:
Post-Secondary education in related field;
Strong organization, time management and people management skills; capable of operating independently with minimal direction;
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Sharepoint;
Excellent problem-solving skills, highly motivated, ability to work collaboratively, creative; and
Strong written and verbal communication with a demonstrated ability to deliver presentations, develop learning material, and correspond with all levels in all Banners.
